July Challenge - Day 28

Our last Monday!

If you have taken part in a big part of the challenge I would love to hear from you, I would like a few blog posts from you about your experience, include photos if you can. Let me know via email if you would like to write your blog post story for me!

Remember to keep smiling today, give a hug, tell your children that you love them and listen!

Assignment for Day 28: Compliments day!

It’s Monday and usually we do something silly and you still can. Do something silly just for the fun of it and to get rid of those Monday blues but today you have to do something else too.

For today you aren’t allowed to say anything negative, because we learned as children that if you can’t say anything nice then you shouldn’t say anything at all, but somehow we think this doesn’t apply to our children.

Not only aren’t you allowed to say anything negative, you have to turn your negative thought into something good and complimentary so instead of saying “Shut it!” you have to say something like “You really love talking and you tell the most interesting stories sometimes!”

It’s important not to get stuck in a negative rut with our children, I know far too many people who can’t think of anything nice to say about the little children they brought into this world. There is something special about each and every one of us and we need to the first people to remind our children of this, often.

I love hearing from you, leave a message or send an email (info@bybelklub.co.za) and tell me how difficult or easy today's assignment was for you!
